Okay so I have a problem. I have been thinking about this story to write but i need some Followers here! So Im Going to try and spread the word and if you have any ideas to help this story, leave a comment!
My story is going to be about a girl who lives in a ghetto type of world. She has a adopted brother named Sam. Both of them have lost all family, recently the girl (age 16-18) has lost her uncle who has been taken to the Maze. Now i havent exactly figured out an idea for the maze, i was thinking its where they throw all the rebels, thiefs and criminals for punishment for breaking the law of their oraganization ( not quite figured out either). But when Sam ( age 5-14) steals a sack of apples and gets caught, his sister takes the blame and gets thrown in the maze. She seems pretty calm at first, she picks food from the crops, but it doesnt become a problem until she realizes she cant remember who she is, and cant find water (general problems) but it doesnt get twisted and scary until she finds the lake. Then she Sees them. A group of people who have been trapped in the maze for over 8 years. They are driven mad. She tries to cooperate with them but they refuse. And then something happens, the lake dries up and the crops die. And they are all in the heat. Desperate for food and water. So, if you were stuck with mad people, driven crazy for food, for water, for freedom, for memory of who you once were, how far would you go just to live for the hope of ever returning?
